close to home:::Elsha Rae's Dress Boutique

I felt like a princess today
at 251 East 1400 North in Mapleton today!

{that's me, the Art City fanatic}

With the Art Ball tomorrow night,
I needed something fancy, formal, and froofy, right?
Elsha Rae's Dress Boutique was so perfect!

It's located in the basement
of this lovely home.

The whimsical geniuses of the boutique:

Angie & Jan

They are so delightful, helpful, creative &......SISTERS!
The two have created one of the happiest, most colorful
places in all of Mapleton!

At Elsha Rae's,
you can rent a dress
or
you can consign a dress and earn money for it!

All sorts of styles, textures, shapes, sizes, & colors!
And look at this:

Each dress is named!
How fairytale is that?!

Angie & Jan will get your dress all cleaned, pressed,
and ready for your special occasion.
Plus, you can pick out some shoes & accessories
to go with it (also for rent, some for sale).

PS:
Did you see the ceiling?

Beautiful.

Many happy gals walk out of
the boutique with a magical armful.
And if there are any out there that have these
gorgeous gowns in your own closets,
consign it to Elsha Rae's and earn some money, too.

They're on Facebook!
or call
(801) 735-3571
for Angie or Jan

The boutique will be closing for the summer
BUT
they would love to consign your dresses!
Especially now that all the school dances are over,
there's sure to be lots of lonely dresses
just waiting to make another girl happy for next year.

One of these beauties is mine for the evening
tomorrow night at the Art Ball.

These shoes, too.
Can't wait!

  6. Thank you for letting us all know about this place! I am very excited to tell my friends. Maybe they should have an Open House and invite people to come have a look see. August or early September.
Way to go Girls! Somebody sure needed to do this and keep the costs of going to dances down.

  8. This is an awesome IDEA, what you are doing and what they are doing with these dresses. I wanted to do something similar but with kids toys. Good luck to them.

  11. What a great idea!!!! I've heard of dress shops before, but this is a great idea. Why not make a few extra $ off your old dress. I have a niece in Alpine. I'll be sure to let her know about this shop. Thanks!
