It's come & gone.
Art City Days 2011.
It was good, no?
Okay, it was FANTASTIC!
Let's take a glimpse back into last week:

The Balloon Festival~~~~~

The TLC Children's Parade~~~~~~~~~~~

A great crowd showed up on the sidelines
to support & cheer on the lil' Springvillians.

This prize & a sno-cone were waiting at
the end of the parade!

SMA's Children's Art Festival~~~~~~~~~~~

Wow, this festival was a blast!
Very well-attended.
LOTS of arts & craft booths.
Food.
Entertainment.
A clown, even!
How lucky are WE?!!!

Such fun!
I know you'd all agree:
Springville is the best city EVER!

lots going on at SMA

It has been busy, busy, busy
and will continue to be so
at the Springville Museum of Art.
On June 1st,
they had the Art Slam,
which was an event celebrating the artist in everyone.

The Art Buffet was absolutely GENIUS!
A whole table full of art supplies, trinkets, and embellishments
for anyone to help themselves in creating a masterpiece!

The place was brimming with
creative projects & happy children.

Also, there were professional artists
throughout the museum
working on their own paintings.
Inspirational to watch!

And a cake decorating demo, too!
Check out SMA's calendar to see
all the events coming up.
Especially the Children's Art Festival
this Friday at 10am to 2pm.
There will be booths set up for children to
'make and take' art projects,
as well as food & live entertainment!

Art Ball 2010

The theme for this year's ball,
Magic in the Air,
was a great match for the enchanting evening
at the Springville Museum of Art last Saturday night.

There was dancing......

Lots of dancing.

There was lots of dressing up.....

and really good food!

And the art.
The ART!
And the amazing museum!
Could there be a better setting for a ball?
Springville is so lucky!!

Springville Museum of Art Association
presents a tour to Spain!
This Novemeber.
Reserve your spot by May 27th.

I'd never been to the Art Ball.
But now,
I can't imagine ever missing it!
Dining, dancing, & enjoying the arts
with the young & old alike
in our beloved Springville
was such a delight.
There's just one thing I'll change about next year:
no heels.
(OUCH!)
